Die-casting operator — Morris County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Morris County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
