Now hiring: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Campbell County, Virginia. The job is at a fabrication and machining plant. You will select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Experience on Fanuc/Siemens CNC controls $140 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
