Milling machine operator — Clarke County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Clarke County, Iowa. Requirements: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • 2-3 years' hands-on milling experience • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work On the job you will handle: • Measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines • Run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
