Overlocker operator • Butler County, Kentucky

Vacancy available: we are hiring an overlocker operator in Butler County, Kentucky. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. What we are looking for: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line The role involves: • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
