Great opportunity: we are hiring an elevator technician in Stevens County, Minnesota. The job is on a lift modernisation project. The role involves: • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Carry out planned preventive maintenance and grease the guide shoes • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays Requirements: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • 2+ years on lift installation and maintenance Full-time, day shift.
