Immediate opening: we are hiring a stitching operator in Henrico County, Virginia. The job is in a sampling and tailoring workshop. The role involves keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. Requirements: • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $5,000 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
