Vacuum press operator — Buchanan County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a vacuum press operator in Buchanan County, Virginia. You will work at a textile finishing unit. What we are looking for: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work The role involves clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; use a pressing cloth to protect delicate fabrics; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments. We offer $2,600 per month plus benefits. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
