Brickwork mason — Wayne County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brickwork mason in Wayne County, Illinois. You will be based on a scaffolded high-rise site. Your main tasks: • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod Requirements: • CSCS card or willingness to obtain one • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks Six days a week, one day off.
