Now hiring: we are hiring a CNC programmer-operator in San Joaquin County, California. The job is at a busy machine shop. The role involves set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; deburr and finish machined edges with files and emery; load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control; measure features with vernier callipers, micrometers and bore gauges; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm.
