Hydraulic press operator — Luton

Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Luton, England. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. The role involves: • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling You should have: • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred Full-time with occasional weekends. £2,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
