Foundry worker wanted in Lee County

Now hiring: we are hiring a foundry worker in Lee County, South Carolina. Your main tasks: • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Rotating shifts. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
