Immediate opening: precision welder (Ohio)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a precision welder in Perry County, Ohio. You will work on an industrial construction site. You will control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required; grind and sharpen tungsten electrodes to the correct taper; set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator. What we are looking for: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
