We are recruiting: we are hiring a groundworker in Delta County, Colorado. The job is on a high-rise construction site. You should have: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Able to follow the mason's and supervisor's instructions Day-to-day duties: • Bend and tie rebar with binding wire for slabs and columns • Wheel barrows of rubble to the skip and keep the site clean • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Set out levels with line and plumb under the mason's direction 2+ years on the tools preferred.
