Gang bricklayer — Garko

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gang bricklayer in Garko, Kano State. You will be based on a new-build development. Your main tasks: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel • Erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts • Building the corners (leads) first and racking back the courses • Installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays What we are looking for: • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • Able to lay to line, level and plumb consistently • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) Part-time with flexible hours.
