Great opportunity: die-casting operator (Indiana)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a die-casting operator in Wayne County, Indiana. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts Your main tasks: • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
