Urgent requirement: formwork carpenter (Illinois)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Cook County, Illinois. Day-to-day duties: • Box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters What we are looking for: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Follows site safety, PPE and edge-protection rules Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
