Lathe operator wanted in Putnam County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lathe operator in Putnam County, Georgia. The job is in a CNC machine shop. Requirements: • Able to stand for long hours on the shop floor • Good attention to detail and steady hands • ITI or diploma in fitter or machinist trade an advantage The role involves key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; set up and start the machine as per the job card; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift. 6+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
