GMAW welder — Turner County

Requirements: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Willing to work shifts and overtime • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Day-to-day duties: • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead • Lay stringer and weave beads on fillet and butt joints • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
