Immediate opening: production machine operator (Kentucky)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a production machine operator in Nicholas County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience operating production machinery • Knowledge of lockout-tagout and machine safety • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges The role involves follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine; measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges; key in cycle parameters such as speed, feed rate and temperature; report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter; load raw material and feed stock into the machine hopper; monitor gauges and stop the machine when readings drift.
