Roofer — Lamoille County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a roofer in Lamoille County, Vermont. You will work at a busy roofing firm. On the job you will handle: • Seal joints and penetrations with mastic and lead flashing • Fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits • Strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck • Fix clay and concrete tiles onto the battens • Torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs • Erect and dismantle roof edge protection and scaffolding Ideal candidate: • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) • Able to read roof pitch and set the falls • Knowledge of both pitched and flat roofing systems 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
