Immediate opening: we are hiring a formwork carpenter in Sherburne County, Minnesota. The job is on a busy high-rise construction site. On the job you will handle: • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • De-nail, clean and stack the panels for reuse • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting You should have: • Sound understanding of props, bracing and load-bearing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
