Vacancy available: elevator technician (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring an elevator technician in Tipton County, Indiana. You will work in a residential tower block. On the job you will handle: • Wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Requirements: • Valid driving licence for site call-outs • Physically fit to lift heavy components and crawl in tight spaces Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
