Vacancy available: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Blackpool, England. You should have: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work The role involves run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; TIG weld aluminium sections after cleaning off the oxide layer; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. Full-time with occasional weekends. We offer £3,000 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
