Immediate opening: panel welder (Georgia)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a panel welder in Clay County, Georgia. The job is at an automobile body shop. Day-to-day duties: • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch • Clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead Requirements: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium 4+ years on the tools preferred.
