Oven operator — Rutherford County

Now hiring: we are hiring an oven operator in Rutherford County, North Carolina. You will boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing; decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream; weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe; grease and clean baking trays, tins and moulds; prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand. Requirements: • 2+ years' experience as a baker • Accurate at weighing and following recipes • Able to stand for long hours in a hot kitchen Six days a week, one day off.
