Flatlock machine operator • Logan County, Arkansas

Vacancy available: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Logan County, Arkansas. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. You should have: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • Quality-conscious with an eye for puckers, skipped stitches and uneven seams On the job you will handle: • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required At least 2 year(s) in a similar role.
