Immediate opening: overlocker operator (Virginia)

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overlocker operator in City of Galax, Virginia. You will be based on a ready-made garment production line. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance You will stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance; match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish. At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time, day shift.
