Now hiring: we are hiring a metal caster in Andrews County, Texas. You will work in a non-ferrous casting shop. On a typical shift you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. You should have: • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards • Comfortable working close to furnaces and molten metal • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred. Pay around $3,500 per month, based on your experience. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
