Immediate opening: bricklayer (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bricklayer in Forsyth County, North Carolina. You will be based at a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Own trowel, spirit level and basic hand tools On the job you will handle: • Setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge • Cutting bricks to size with a bolster and club hammer or angle grinder • Forming arches, piers and reveals around openings • Pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints • Brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
