Urgent requirement: punch press operator (Kansas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a punch press operator in Pawnee County, Kansas. You will work at a busy press shop. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges Your main tasks: • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Record output and downtime on the production sheet Rotating shifts.
