Sheet metal press operator — Franklin County

Join our team: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in Franklin County, Iowa. You will be based at a busy press shop. The role involves: • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor You should have: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
