Immediate opening: we are hiring a general labourer in Monroe County, Alabama. You will work on a residential housing site. You will cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days; carry bricks, cement bags and sand up to the masons on site; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer. Requirements: • Prior experience as a labourer on building or civil sites • Site safety induction or labour card an advantage • Physically fit and comfortable working at height Part-time with flexible hours.
