Bulldozer operator wanted in Sunderland

Now hiring: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Sunderland, England. You will be based at an open-cast mine. On the job you will handle: • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse • Spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction • Cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Rip hard ground and rock using the rear ripper shank You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Proven experience operating crawler dozers (D6 to D8 class) Rotating shifts. £2,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
