Quality assurance assistant — Clay County

Now hiring: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Clay County, North Carolina. What we are looking for: • Able to stand for full shifts on the production floor • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Day to day you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; check visually for scratches, dents, burrs and colour variation; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. $5,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
