Join our team: lifting rigger (Niger State)

Great opportunity: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Kontagora, Niger State. You will work in a heavy machinery workshop. The role involves secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio; calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift. You should have: • Willing to work shifts, weekends and outdoors in all weather • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
