Urgent requirement: track-type tractor operator (Michigan)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a track-type tractor operator in Shiawassee County, Michigan. The job is at an open-cast mine. The role involves push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving; form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle; grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; spread imported fill in even layers ready for compaction; carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil. Requirements: • Valid heavy equipment or plant operator licence • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels • Physically fit for climbing on and off the machine 3+ years on the tools preferred. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
