Now hiring: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Phillips County, Kansas. The role involves: • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists Requirements: • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
