Concrete placer wanted in Cook County

Join our team: we are hiring a concrete placer in Cook County, Illinois. The role involves fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing. What we are looking for: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers 3+ years on the tools preferred. $2,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
