Now hiring: we are hiring a precision welder in Upton County, Texas. You will be based in a food and dairy equipment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Run root passes and fill passes on pipe joints • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp Ideal candidate: • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Meals and transport allowance provided.
