The role involves keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers. What we are looking for: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching 1+ years on the tools preferred.
