Ideal candidate: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long spells bending and kneeling • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Day to day you will place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules.
