Excavator operator — Milwaukee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an excavator operator in Milwaukee County, Wisconsin. On a typical shift you will check for underground cables and services before digging; carry out daily pre-start checks on engine oil, coolant, hydraulic fluid and track tension; keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook; excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels; load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. Requirements: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
