Foundry worker — Somerset County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a foundry worker in Somerset County, Maryland. You will work on the moulding line. Day to day you will shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. What we are looking for: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 4+ years on the tools preferred.
