Tile fixer — Northumberland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tile fixer in Northumberland County, Virginia. The role involves fit tile spacers to keep the grout joints even; cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter; mix tile adhesive and cement mortar to the right consistency; level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system; make curved cuts and holes with an angle grinder and tile drill bits; set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges. Requirements: • A good eye for level, plumb and even grout lines • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Walk-in interviews this week.
