Mining dozer operator • Southampton County, Virginia

Immediate opening: we are hiring a mining dozer operator in Southampton County, Virginia. You will work on a dam or embankment job. What we are looking for: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels You will carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil; follow GPS and laser grade control to hit design levels; maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes. 2+ years on the tools preferred. $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
