You should have: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg On the job you will handle: • Deburr and stack finished components for the next operation • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges 4+ years on the tools preferred.
