Ideal candidate: • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Your main tasks: • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job • Carry out 6G pipe welds where required • Read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding We offer $3,600 per month plus benefits.
