Steam press operator — Jackson County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a steam press operator in Jackson County, Kansas. The job is at a textile finishing unit. Your main tasks: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press You should have: • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
