Now hiring: we are hiring a turning centre operator in Childress County, Texas. Day-to-day duties: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets Ideal candidate: • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code We offer $250 per day plus benefits.
