Fusing press operator wanted in Schuyler County

Join our team: we are hiring a fusing press operator in Schuyler County, Illinois. You will press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics; check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
